Yep, it’s generic indie rock time and that means this is either going to be alright or drastically terrible. Lucky it’s the former then, "A Little Late" is quite an enjoyable release which sounds a lot like any indie rock band you could think of that have come around over the past four years and whilst trying to throw similar artists names out is like shooting fish in a barrel, Hard-Fi & the Killers with Kooks style vocal comes to mind more prominently for a sound description. The title track is the softer and more melodic of the two presented here, B-side "The Last Laugh" being the harder ’driving’ track. Still there’s little to set them aside from the other bands out there at the moment which is a shame.
It’s alright, if you have the spare cash then you might want to pick it up but personally I’d just get the album instead.
