Moody McArdle - Fractured Soul

The opening of the first track on this album sounds like the intro music to a bad daytime soap, probably set in Australia, and perhaps involving good looking young doctors. Possibly in aeroplanes, or even helicopters. This is in stark contrast to the artwork of the album, which looks like it should be from a bad nu-metal band from about 1999, probably with dreadlocks. And rapping.

For better or for worse, the sonic first impression is the more accurate. Imagine a terrifying hybrid of Crash Test Dummies, Crowded House and Nickelback, with lyrics ranging from the morbid to the generic, then realise that you really don't need to hear this.
