I can ride a bike with no handlebars, no handlebars, no handlebars. yeah baby, get in! Welcome to the most addictive set of tunes of 2008. Instantly memorable (annoyingly so), this album is a beast and is unlike any other contemporary band.

The LA times called Fight With Tools 'a focused flip-book of progressive leaning issues: corporate greed, Guantanamo, the Iraq war, globalization, racism government-sanctioned assassination and the flight of the powerless' and they are not far wrong. Not since Rage Against the Machine and System of a Down have we seen a musical project with such a series of important statements about the way we live and Flobot's deft mix of edgy hip hop, combustible funk and rock and socially aware wordplay has quickly garnered them a global following of fans that they thoroughly deserve. This is a great album and should be an integral part of any collection.

Get it. Now. If not for the reasons above, then just because he can keep rhythm with no metronome, no metronome, no metronome.
