Bison - Saturday Big Shop

Bison are a nine-piece, horns-front, hoof-stomping beast - masters of the ancient and noble art of party-starting and I LOVE THEM. Talk about cheering up a dreary October Saturday afternoon!

Saturday Big Shop is the fourth offering from the hardest working band in Sheffield and everything about it SCREAMS summer time in the UK. From the joyous instrumental Apocalypso to the lyrically traumatic Another Day, Saturday Big Shop is stuffed full of shades of light and dark, brimming with fun and veritable anthems.

From start to finish, there is nothing wrong with this record at all and standout tracks include the anthemic title track, which thunders through stylistic changes like a Ska Bohemian Rhapsody as it details a doomed shopping expedition and RTT, the irresistible driving reggae number whose lyrics reflect on a life fully, if chaotically, lived.
