Emmure seem to have been raised on a diet of The Acacia Strain and nothing else but that since the day they were born. I have no doubt in my mind that this release will have sixteen year old boys windmilling in their bedrooms like Helen Keller trying to shake a mousetrap off her fingers as soon as the first of an infinite amount of open chord chugs hit. This release consists of just that, mostly breakdown after half speed breakdown with absolutely terribly done "deathcore" vocals and the occasional dischord and melodic bit. Hell, they’ve even managed to throw in the "ironic" nod to myspace on the track "Show Me On The Doll Where He Touched Your Myspace".

Sound wise, it’s extremely well recorded and you can feel the kick drums in your chest if you have the volume up loud enough. Though why you’d actually even turn your speakers on with this in the player is anyone's guess. Most bands improve with each release; Emmure flushed their proverbial chain a long time ago.
