Following an extremely well received debut album 'St. Jude' which has had fans and critics singing these Manchester lads praises, The Courteeners have now got the dreaded second album syndrome lying before them.
If this stand alone single, released especially for a tour, is anything to go by, everyone can calm down and enjoy the timeless rhythm which takes the listener back to the early Spector Wall of Sound tunes mixed with a 2008 northern feel to it.
I wasn't too sure how the chorus was going to fit in smoothly with the first verse, but it does and with great ease. The song is very addictive and will keep you singing the lines 'I know that I shouldn't. but I enjoyed it', which I think could easily become a crowd favourite, and the band will find that out on their forthcoming sold out UK tour starting at the end of September 08.
The Courteeners have proved that they aren't a one hit album wonder if this single is anything to go by.
