Yes. Yes. Yes. Yes.

There was a time - Halloween, two years ago in fact, when I decided not to like A7X anymore after they cancelled their live show at Nottingham Rock City to work on the new album. I was really annoyed. The new album was okay. I suppose, but it wasn't until Afterlife appeared on Rockband (or Guitar Hero 3 - I can't remember which) that I suddenly began to realise that the break was a good thing and A7X were now actually better than they would have been had they stayed on tour to deliver that fateful performance at Halloween.

The result? The Live in the LBC & Diamonds in the Rough release. Absolutely awesome. With what can only be described as cinematic quality, the A7X crew plough through a kind of greatest hits set with power and finesse. In fact the only reason it doesn't score top marks, is that the fantastic audio is, well, too fantastic and it feels like it can't possibly have been taken from the live feed.

In short, fans will love this - and non-fans might become fans that will then love it.
