Remixes are a dodgy affair. Seriously, you can get anything from the same track with a massive synth bass drum beat behind it to a complete reworking and reinterpretation that's nothing short of a cover version. Sometimes they’re great and sometimes you get absolute tosh (see Scooter), so when this one dropped on my doormat and the press release said it was a re-release due to "huge demand at club level" I thought ’uh-oh’.
To be honest its not that bad, not amazingly different but not awfully terrible either. If you’ve heard the original it’s pretty much the same only now it sounds like it’s been produced and put together by Rockwell (did a track with Michael Jackson). It comes out pretty well though the lack of good timing for breakdowns make it a pain to try and dance to.
It sounds alright and it's good for listening but it’s not a must have.
