I'm guilty of overplaying this song. Almost from the moment 'Waited Up Till It Was Light' was released, this track shot to top of my Most Played list and, going on what the bloggers have been saying, I'm not the only one.

It's still brilliant though; punk-pop scribbled over and torn up with all the energy Ash had when they had to balance touring with school work, but the remixes offer some welcome variety.

All using Alexei's spoken word rant as base for all kinds of sonic playing, the Bloc Party Remix sounds a lot like a new Bloc Party song (Like 'The Prayer' or, more so, 'Mercury') bar the vocals of Alexei and Kelly. Dolby Anol's version (Featuring members of Dananananaykroyd) is a one song '90s dance revival, all big beat, vocal chop ups, booty squelch and happy hardcore sirens. But it's Nibiru's reversion that is the best of the three, making use of the original's giddy riff and "do do do-ing" and adding SMD/Justice style bounce to retain 'Sal, Peppa And Spinderella's' fun core.
