Rod Thomas's name has been popping up a lot recently. His unique brand of electro-folk-pop has been making ears prick at all sorts of festivals this summer. Same Old Lines has been receiving regular airtime from DJ's like Huw Stephens, Bethan Elfyn and Rob Da Bank.

It's easy to see why Rod Thomas has been turning heads at festivals - Same Old Lines sounds like it was made to be THE song for the summer. The catchy melodies and ukulele led track, supported by hand clap galore provide the perfect soundscape to the summer just gone.

The remix, by the popular James Yuill has been done with taste and sounds great. I've been a fan of Yuill since hearing his anthemic 'No Surprise' and he's well worth checking out.

Make Myself Desire slows things down (one assumes for the B Side) but sheds a new light on the style of Rod Thomas.

I'm sure this artist will continue to turn heads over the next year, expect big things from Rod Thomas.
