'Meadowlands' is the pseudonym of 20-year-old William Anderson. Anderson is usually found behind a bass guitar in post-punk band 'Dartz', but this album is a blues tinged album made up of acoustic tracks. The album was recorded in one take, and features some well-crafted music from Anderson.
Stand out tracks include 'Heaven. Homeland. Harvest. Summerland' and 'Glynn and Apollo'. Tracks like 'The Flying Colours' and 'The Ports and the Docks' may also attract listeners, despite the fact they are both under two minutes in length.
Whilst there is a tendency for things to get too similar, with the minimal but constant mix of vocal and acoustic guitar, the tracks offer plenty of variation to keep the listener entertained.
