Jumpercable - EP

New Jersey is well known for producing absolutely solid hardcore bands. From Mouthpiece to Fury Of Five, NJ upstarts Jumpercable bravely set forth carrying the flame for this generation. The simply titled "EP" starts off with a palm muted chug riff that lasts just over thirty seconds before all hell breaks loose. This is the sort of record you would create dervish sized circle pits to all whilst chugging beer bongs and stagediving like your life depended on it. It's as if the late 80's were still happening and were still extremely relevant as guitars bounce and chug from track to track. There are also plenty of opportunities for the finger pointers amongst us too as vocalist Spencer seems to bleed out his aggressions as if he were having a conversation with you personally off stage. All in all, this EP is what you would expect from a hardcore band. Short, punchy slabs of buzz saw guitar work and a tight rhythm section held together by an angry, angry frontman. If you wish the 80's never ended call the AA and get them to bring their Jumpercable.
