Lights has signed to Doghouse Records. The press release is below from the label:

"Doghouse Records is proud to announce that it will release the debut 6-song EP from Toronto artist LIGHTS on September 23. LIGHTS is a self-made young multi-instrumentalist who has drawn comparisons to Bjork and Gwen Stefani. She writes, performs and co-produces all of her music. She has had over 3 million unique hits on Myspace and has sold over 100,000 song downloads in the US with no label and having never played in America until recently. In the Spring, her music was the focus of a 4 part series of commercial spots for OLD NAVY. Shortly after the release of the EP, LIGHTS will join Boys Like Girls and Cute is What We Aim For on the Verizon Campus Tour. A full length album will follow in 2009."
