You know what; I was so ready to be unimpressed with Johnny Foreigner. Seldom is there a band that receives so much hype that isn't somehow a disappointment. JoFo however are an exception to this. There's just something about these guys that makes them special, admittedly they're by no means the world's best singers or musicians but by hell they can turn out a performance and a hook. I've seen them a number of times now and was almost certain that their recorded material wouldn't translate. But, the album 'Waited Up Til' It Was Light' is great, and 'Salt, Peppa And Spinderella' was an obvious choice for the next single. This really is a glorious little song, exactly what a single should be (Proved by it's 14 plays on my iTunes this week). Catch them supporting the single with a tour in September with the awesome Danananakroyd, dates on their MySpace.
