Well here we are with part 2 of my Intraverse CD reviews, and this time it's their latest one An Eclectic Collection of Demo's. And straight off you can hear how their music has matured over the 4 years between recordings. Plus this one is soooo much more polished, in fact any more polished and it would have blinded me.
The funk continues in the Chili Peppers strain, but there's more here now and I can here No Doubt esque ska and the track Monday Night is Carlos Santana all the way. One thing I've been told is that they sound very similar to Incubus, not something I'd know anything about. But this has been confirmed by 2 separate sources so that's another band they sound like.
Anyway I would recommend that if you have anyway to be able to see this band live, to go and do so and to purchase their CDs from them, as it would be very much worth it. They are extremely talented and with interesting songs to boot.
