Ross Royce is a Do It Yourself success story, as he managed to record most of his debut CD by himself, playing the majority of the instruments and getting airplay across Australia and New Zealand. Even in this album 'Life Worth Living' he's credited for most of the instruments and what an eclectic album it is.
The sounds vary from Bowie to T-Rex to Cameo to Crowded House, so keeping it all in the rock and roll tradition, but enough difference to hold attention. There is a slight smugness to the tunes, especially where large crowd noises have been added in. And some of the lyrics are a bit simplistic, but overall a good album to listen to.
