Submitted: "Severe Zero are heading off to Germany for a mini tour in February.

They will play the following live dates:

Thursday 26th February - Headcrash, Hamburg
Saturday 28th February - Gassi’s Sports Bar, Kiel
Thursday 5th March - Knaack, Berlin
Friday 6th March - MTC, Köln
Saturday 7th March - Turock, Essen

They’ll be heading over there with their new line up, after sudden departure of guitarist and backing vocals, Jamie.
"Just after the Christmas break Jamie announced that he was leaving the band", said lead singer Luke Bond. "We were stunned as Jamie has contributed to the band since we formed two years ago, and helped to make it was it is today. We are very sorry to see him go, but we wish him well for the future, whatever he chooses to do.

"As a band we have always been very conscious that our music needs to evolve and grow, and it almost seems as if fate was lending a hand as for the last few months we have been working closely with another talented musician, bassist and singer, Joe Brewer. Our drummer, Frank Rawle, was previously in a band with Joe called Hollowpoint, and the three of us are great mates. We play football together on Sundays and will often spend what little spare time we've got when we're not having a band practise playing on X Box live.

"Joe fits naturally into the band and has been working really hard learning all our songs", said Luke. "I'm still the lead vocalist and now lead guitarist, whilst Frank does what he does best- keeps pushing the boundaries with the drums in order that our adrenaline fuelled sound reaches audiences of all ages."

"At the moment we are putting in every spare moment we can into the band as we have been picked to feature on the Red Stripe Music Awards on January 23 at the Phoenix in Exeter. It's an18+ gig, and if any fans want to come down and support us, please let us know and we can organise a minibus.""
