Timmy Vegas and Bad Lay-Dee are turning the system on its head with this release and its eight (count 'em and weep) versions. Unfortunately, the system in question isn't particularly musical. No, they appear to be producing a reality TV show cash-in single before being on a reality TV show. An interesting twist and about the only one in evidence here, what with its Intergalactic rip MO and vocals from Dr. Who's Martha after a few sonic screwdrivers. "If you feel like you've heard it before, we're going to give you a little bit more", Miss Bad Spell-Ing trills at one point, without irony. Thanks, hun. And there's a cute sample of kid! Aww! Yeah, fanks, mine's a pink Aftershock.

Anyway. The 'house mix' gives us more thud-thud-thud-thud, a 'yeaaahhh!' female vocal bit and a robot vocal bit. 'Triple D' chucks the lot firmly into a 1970s boogie wonderland. The 'Dub mix' should really be titled 'Slightly Less Cheesy Than The Others' mix and the extended / club versions are more of the same, only longer and more tedious. Only Tom Novy provides an attempt at a spark, with efforts that are quite unrecognisable from their raw material, apart from the tempo. Are they really remixes or has Mr. Novy done a clever Emperor's New Clothes job on Vegas and the Lay-Dee as they exited the bath of cockroaches? Who cares?
