To be fair, I think vince was still in the band at the point, and had he stayed in the band you'd probably be stealing our new lp off of your favorite torrent site this very moment

With john now on board we've spent the last few months (re)learning old songs This pushes back any new material significantly.
So in the meantime, we recorded a covers ep with our old friend Pat Hills It's something we've wanted to do for a long time Ideally we will do multiple cover sessions and release them one after another The first ep is called Idioms Vol I the tracklist is as follows:

Meant for You- The Beach Boys
Koka Kola- The Clash
Tame- The Pixies
Blast Off- Rivers Cuomo
Hey Sandy- Polaris

These are five of the raddest songs ever written. Since we will probably never write anything as cool as these, we figured we'd recreate them Also, since they will likely never be performed by the original artist again, and quite possibly by anyone, we will honor them by playing them live.

Lastly, Idioms Vol. I won’t cost you jack shit. It’s free. All that we ask is that you sign a mailing list. In an effort to stay ahead of the rapid decline of the myspace universe we’d like to prepare for the disaster by collecting email addresses. Sort of like in 2003 how everyone was buying garbage bags and duct tape to safeguard their house from an impending nuclear attack. Except we are not idiots. Essentially we’d like to be able to directly communicate with you, rather than crossing our fingers in hopes that you’ll see any of our bulletins or read our blogs. This is also a way to weed out the retards that add us for stupid reasons verses the retards that add us because they like our band.
