Back from making friends and influencing people in the US - he performed at the LA premier of the Simon Pegg film 'Run Fat Boy Run' at the behest of director David Schwimmer - Cornwall singer-songwriter Tom Baxter picks up where he left off last time.

With a lavish, sentimental, Beatles-style ballad like this it's easy to see why a Hollywood director and former 'Friends' star would be taken by Baxter. It starts off slow and lyrics like "Your looking for a miracle, let's make something happen" are sometimes a bit too earnest to stomach, but the swooping, McCartney-esque orchestral close (Replete with "na na na's"). It might only be a tad more exciting than a Damien Rice record but Baxter's heart is in the right place, for every song on his new album he painted a canvas to go with it that was auctioned for charity.
