Occasionally I will get some music that is hard for me to decide immediately whether it's any good or not. No offence to the band, but when listening to the first track 'Calcupillar', it starts great, almost like an energetic version of Radiohead, 'Pablo Honey' era or very nearly early Therapy? And then it descends into a bit of dreary shoegaze. Why? But after a few listens the true beauty shines through.
And the rest of this EP certainly continues with the energetic Radiohead theme, whilst also creating wall of sound, which must be immense to listen to live. In fact I'd really like to know how the hell this band combines any energy at all with a shoegaze style?
