Veil Cassini - Veil Cassini

I love the chunky bass riff that kicks us into the world of the Cassini crew - and my first impressions (based entirely on the way they look) soon melt away. Sounding somewhere between early Pearl Jam and Australia's finest youth Silverchair, Veil Cassini throw in surprise after surprise on this self-titled EP - the sound is huge, the band are tight and the songs are nicely crafted into perfect parcels of four minute joy.

Having honed their craft in Devon building up the best part of a million genuine MySpace hits, Veil Cassini are a band set to go off in 2009 and will be one of those bands we get to genuinely say: "Veil Cassini? Yeah, I was a fan from the start.."
