The Sophomore Attempt wrote this update about the loss of their forthcoming new cover album they were working on. They’re a great band, so it’s a real shame. Read about it here:
"Hey Everyone-
I’ve got some really disappointing news...As most of you know, we’ve been working on a cover album called "A Fine Tuned Way of Motion" for the past two months, and until a few days ago, we were VERY close to finishing it. I’m not exactly sure how it happened, but when I was transferring all of the project files from my computer to my external hard drive, my computer crashed and all the files were deleted. We lost all 10 cover songs we had been finishing up, about 30 TSA demos, and a few other miscellaneous things that don’t even matter at this point. I cannot even begin to describe to you how disappointed we are to see all of our hard work go to waste without anything to show from it. We put hundreds of hours into making the album and we were just a few days from completion, and now it seems like it was all for nothing.
So here’s the plan:
We’re going to keep moving forward with putting out our new EP "The Tides that Bind" [It will be out February 10th, so make sure to mark it down on your calenders...], then we are gonna get right back to the drawing board to start rerecording the entire album. Please accept our sincerest apologies for making you guys wait so long. I promise we’ll have it in your hands before you know it!!!
See you January 30th at our CD Release show for our new EP "THE TIDES THAT BIND"!!!!!
