I think Mr. Cola is having some sort of crisis about age and life in general, here. Taking its title from Malcolm Middleton's pissed Christmas single, We're All Going To Die has little of its muse's sharpness and despair. Rather, it comes across as an Eighties has-been rant. Mr. Cola may or may not be an Eighties has-been. However, that is what he sounds like. The crafted lyrics have little wit; the monochrome music is instantly forgettable.

On the other hand, with the world the insane, electrified barnpot it is, Cola may be the future of music and it is I, your humble scribe that is the despairing, witless has-been. If so, then I shall quietly leave via the door marked 'twat' and leave you to the sounds of pop eating itself once more, whilst Jonny Cola poses grandly over his collection of Bonnie Tyler records. You're welcome.
