Rod Stewart's new album "Some Guys Have All The Luck" is being released on November the 17th in the UK through Warner Bros. Warner Bros. are launching the singer/songwriters’ catalogue revamp with the release of "Some Guys Have All The Luck" available in two versions: a standard two-CD edition and a deluxe edition that includes a bonus DVD of music videos. As one of Billboard magazine’s most successful chart artists of all time, the newly assembled collection offers over 30 of his greatest songs, with his unmistakable rasp.
What this album essentially is is a collection of over 30 songs spanning over 30 years. Many of the songs are also contained in his previous greatest hits album 'The Story So Far Rod Stewart - The Very Best Of', but it is still a great collection of his best songs, covering his long and fruitful career.
From Rod's start with the Jeff Beck Group and then once he teamed up with the Small Faces he has had a great following worldwide. Basically he's always been a star. It became apparent even during his teenage years that he was a character of the first order with fiercely held opinions, a passion for folk, blues and soul music and a taste for the limelight. So perhaps it was always a foregone conclusion that he would eventually end up in the superstar bracket and would go on to out-sell virtually all the musical idols that drew him to music in the first place.
Still going strong this is bound to be a great listen for all his fans and with some of the songs being different from the last collection it is worth listening to.
