Hayze - Making Plans / Contours (Single)

Ipswich based band Hayze have been together since 2001. Over that time, as well as the comings and goings of different members, they have galvanised their sound and live shows to become a "balls out to the wall rock n roll band" and the single Making Plans demonstrates these talents nicely. Making Plans has some lovely big guitars, the same annoying vocal demonstrated by all of the great indie bands and some driving backline. For me though, despite the fact it makes a nice showcase for the band, it does little for me in terms of wanting to hear something new. I mean, it's okay. but that's it. These guys clearly have talent - I want to see something more from them.

Cheers for the review. I have recently joined the band and we have been talking about writing new songs - the lead singer has a few new songs we have gone through which have a different direction - so stay posted :)
