The Dangerous Summer have written an update on their band in a blog:
"Hey people,
I just wanted to blog a little bit about what is going on, because we aren’t the best at keeping the news with us up to date. Here we are in a big transition period, because we are about to head into the studio in a week or so with Paul Leavitt. We’ve been working on this material for close to a year now, and we are stoked to let you guys hear it. Our sound has grown into something i can only explain as the most honest thing we’ve ever written. We have all been listening to tons of music lately, and have never felt so inspired.
This last year has been real hard on all of us. We’ve all been dealing with our personal responsibilities, and one of the craziest times of our lives. There have been countless albums that we have turned to that have really morphed our sound. First off, Weatherbox really has really forced us to step outside of our box. If you haven’t heard them, you need to stop reading this and go find their music. Also the new Rise Against, new Third Eye Blind, new Copeland, and tons of Saves The Day. I think you guys will be really surprised with how we are going about our sound, in a good way though.
We recorded demos, instrumentally, and I am putting my finishing touches on lyrics as we speak. Paul Leavitt has been working with us very closely, and we are happy to be spending the rest of the year with him. We are also real excited to be hitting the road in January, permanently. We will be hitting all of your cities, we promise. Please just sit back, and keep listening. The full length isn’t titled yet, but we were looking at a spring release. See you guys real soon. Thank you for all of your love and support, it helps me more than you know.
Thank You,
AJ"
