This track from American 5 piece, My American Heart has all the angst and attitude that is typical of the hard rock American sound that's been made so popular recently with bands like Paramore and Plain White T's only there's a less 'adolescent' sound to this that in some ways reminds me of early Cooper Temple Clause.
It's an extremely well structured song which oozes confidence and the bass heavy riffs coupled with an impressive vocal ability all add up to a not altogether unfamiliar but nonetheless huge sound and yet it's also subtle in all the appropriate places.
If the rest of their stuff is as solid as this then they're already impressive fan base is set to explode and I wouldn't be at all surprised to see them appearing in respectable line up positions when it comes to next year's summer festivals.
