Kong take Big Black and Lightning Bolt and suck them to bones. The result is both surreal and masochistic - you are being beaten up by music and yet you want more. The guitar scratches along with the tortured, distorted vocals, while drums and bass boom and thunder. Things seem to become semi-improvised and it looks like yet another good idea running out of steam - and then the final minute attacks. Leather Penny comes together with a mighty punch in that final minute, justifying not just the track but the existence of the whole band. You're left feeling like a cannon made of safety-pins and staples has just shot your head from your shoulders.
