NYC's former best art-rock band continue their transformation into the city's best disco band on 'Heads Will Roll', even more so here than on exhilarating previous single 'Zero'. But then again, nearly all of third album 'It's Blitz!' is a reminder that the Yeah Yeah Yeahs always had us dancing (they did break out around the same time as electroclash, after all). Just that now, they've arguably made it even easier and more fun.

Well, as fun as ambiguous lines like, "Off with your head! Dance till you're dead!" can be. 'Heads Will Roll' is begins with dark glitter and (almost) NIN-heavy synth/guitar combos, before Karen O unleashes a shimmering falsetto and Nick Zinner takes his guitar tones sky high again.

At about 2.20mins in, it sounds like the song's fading out before, bam: it's back - yet another display of YYYs' multicoloured brilliance and another reason they should be considered one of America's great bands.
