Jon Allen - Going Home (Single)

Going Home is the debut single from Devon based Jon Allen. The song sounds akin to some classic influences, such as Nick Drake and Rod Stewart. The song has been used in the Land Rover TV Advert, which will no doubt push this talented song writer further in to the public eye; having already sold 20,000 downloads independently. Allen remains independent, and will be releasing the single through his own label, Monologue Records.

The B Side is quite a departure to Going Home. Dead Man's Suit is far more up beat, sounding like a cross between The Zombie's "She's Not There" and Bob Dylan's rendition of "All Along the Watchtower".

In the days of over hyped crap and cheap marketing of even cheaper bands, it's refreshing to see an independent artist offering up some great British talent that is sure to get Jon Allen noticed.
