Chess Club records have been bringing some amazing bands to the forefront of the upcoming music scene, with bands such as Post War Years and Mumford and Sons, and one of my personal favourites - James Yuill. Their new offering comes from London five-piece, Exlovers.

Their debut single, 'Just A Silhouette' is steeped in dream like melodies and jangly guitars, and highlights the beautiful sound of Peter Scott's wonderful vocals. What is most amazing is the band has only been together since early 2008, and has already made a big impact, with big tours and an ever building fan base.

The B-side, 'Clouds' is an intimate and beautiful track, based around hushed vocals and beautiful harmonies.

This band are well worth a listen, and will no doubt, soon be dominating your MP3 player, CD player, computer, or anywhere where you can get your daily dose.
