{satellite-state} are a five piece band that formed in Guildford, Surrey. The sampler CD I've been sent is full of sky scraping walls of sound, driving guitars and pushing, sweeping choruses. I'm a huge fan of epic music, and this doesn't disappoint. The harmonies are well thought out, as are the tracks, which, although not the most memorable, are dynamically satisfying and contemplative.
'Plans' is probably the best track on the EP with sweeping synths and a really lush guitar line. Althought {satellite-state} haven't blown me away, they've satisfied my day's hunger for epic sounding stadium pop!
