Adrian Byron Burns - Bigger Stories

I'm really not sure where to start with this one! It's a collection of (Decentish quality) MP3s, consisting two albums, three EPs and a video. Adrian is a firm believer in independent music, and as such releases stuff like this so that you, the consumer, gets the most possible music for your money. As far as I can tell, most or all of the tracks here are covers (I recognise quite a few of them, but not all) and I can certainly tell that Adrian has a wonderful voice, and is a great guitarist.

The problem is, the tracks he is covering are. well, they fall into two groups. There are horrible songs, which Adrian can't save, and there are good songs that, while he just about does justice to them, he doesn't really stamp his own personality on or improve on in any way. It's a real shame and I hate knocking this because Adrian's views on music coincide with my own, but I just feel that his voice (Imagine John Lee Hooker only a bit cheerier) is just wasted on average covers of middle of the road songs.

Too many! There are two full albums and three EPs on here: Suffice to say you get your money's worth.
