So. Punk, yeah? Anything goes. Anarchy. DIY ethic. Stickin' it to The Man with some sick mutha choonz, know what I'm sayin'? Bristle style. Sorry about that. Don't know what came over me.oh hang on, yes I do - Bristol's Guantanamo Babes, that's what. This band are, quite clearly, insane. They have decided to mix the ska-punk palette up by adding a vocalist on the verge of collapsing into his own vocal cords. All musical proficiency aside, once the 'singing' kicks in, you're drawn to it like seeing Wayne Hussey as a raddled old man screaming on a park bench or Rollins on the verge of death.

This may sound like the noise you're looking for but please beware - the album generally sounds like Zodiac Mindwarp rehearsing in a wheelie bin with Animal from the Muppets on drums. It's mercifully short, though, with matters taking a turn for the ironic as we near the close; there's a song called Abandon Ship and the answer to the final track Are You Thinking What We're Thinking? is most definitely 'yes', if the 'Babes are thinking 'we could do with a better singer'.
