When I first heard Bryn Christopher, I was blown away by his unique voice. He lends himself to the current market well, with a style that is reminiscent of Amy Winehouse. Not surprising then that he bagged the support slot for her 2007 tour, when he was still totally unknown. There's a big production behind this song (Courtesy of Jarrad Rogers and Midi Mafia) and it's really well executed.
The song didn't really stick in my mind, and I didn't find myself humming it back after I'd heard it, but I do think it'll be a well received track that should get plenty of radio play.
After such a positive feeling on the first mix, I was slightly apprehensive about playing the 'Dirty' remix. However, it's a pleasant surprise, not detracting too much from the original version (Which makes me question how dirty it actually is). All in all, Bryn Christopher has surfaced at a good time, brining a bit of old school soul back in to the world of music, which surely can't be a bad thing can it?
