'Architect's Son' is the latest offering from rising singer-songwriter Karim Fanous. Karim is the son of Nabil Fanous, a renowned architect from Saudi Arabia. 'Architect's Son' is a folk like track, showcasing some nice chord progressions and good lyrics. However, after listening to the two-track offering, I couldn't help but think the tracks were the wrong way round. 'Top Of The World' has a much more impressionable pop status, where as 'Architect's Son' left no lasting impression on me.

Fanous has worked with some big names on these tracks, including Martin Terefe (Producer and writer) and Claes Bjorklund from Travis. In this day and age, I think it takes something really special to set an artist apart, especially in the 'singer-songwriter' genre, and sadly, I see nothing here that sets it apart. Whilst it's a good offering, it's nothing special.
