Bad Luck Charms starts with a strange monologue, which goes on for too long and then cuts to the first song, Twilight In The Asylum. This peaked my interest for the first few bars of the cool guitar riff and then it lost me completely. Unfortunately, what lost me was the sloppy singing and lyrics. Maybe this is what we might call tongue in cheek stuff, but I've heard it before and can't be bothered with it.
The production is not brilliant and the ideas are far from original, The Yo-Yo's did this so much better a few years ago and even they weren't very original either. You can't fault the band for their energy, but it's not enough for me to want to listen to them more.
