A much better offer from German label Silverwolf Productions comes in the form of Andromeda - a Swedish five piece well known for its "progressive yet melodic power metal".
Designed to be blasted from your speakers at number 11 on the volume dial, Andromeda (who really ought to have been guided by the label to a less ridiculous name) have an enormous sound - combining the most crushing of big guitar noise with a pounding rhythm section, some incredible vocal performances and a collection of tunes that reaffirm European metal in all its forms.
Standout tracks include Slaves of the Plethora Season, Censoring Truth and Another Step.
For fans of Dream Theater and early Foreigner.
