Is their name a nod towards the 80s western flicks? A gesture to Bon Jovi, perhaps? Or simply a turn of phrase used to describe youngsters often clichéd to rebellious types or those driven by their angst? Who knows, it matters not once the tremors of Young Gun's hearty stomper gets on track - like the rumblings from the sturdy engine of a truck.er, a shiny new truck ferrying good-looking boys that is. For there's no ignoring the polished appearance that the chaps in this Buckinghamshire five-piece have, although their sound renders this sheen a little ragged around the edges. While the appealing combination of raging riffs and chugging rhythm draws ever-so-slight comparisons with Bullet For My Valentine and even Avenged Sevenfold in parts, the whole package offers more similarities with glam-rock n' rollers, Backyard Babies, and with this look Young Guns may be ideal poster material too.
