Do you know who former Bush frontman Gavin Rossdale sounds like? Not Kurt Cobain, Eddie Vedder or Chris Cornell (Which is perhaps his intention, and those comparisons have been made before), but Fightstar's Charlie Simpson. Which means he'll probably continue to be ridiculed my the music press in his solo career as much as he was with Bush, in Britain at least, Bush were massive, arena headlining stars in America.
And bearing a vocal resemblance to Charlie Simpson while singing a semi-acoustic, ultra radio friendly ballad that David Gray would probably like means that 'Love Remains The Same' sounds like a Busted ballad. And Busted couldn't do ballads. But he got mocked for 10 years while he was in Bush and still sold over 10 million albums in the US and married Gwen Stefani, so he probably doesn't care about the jibes any more.
