The title of The Getaway Team's B-side is like something Panic At The Disco would could come up with when they still had their !, and that Fall Out Boy still do. Unfortunately 'Lost All Hope' is neither as catchy as catchy as anything by FOB nor as good as 'Nine In The Afternoon' (But not many pop-rock songs have been this year, so never mind on that score). Instead, their sound seems to be having a fight with itself over whether to be just like The Kooks or not. Singer Tom Greenwood starts and ends the song doing an impression of Luke Pritchard that's sometimes difficult to listen too. There's no curly mops, but their press shots online have lots of hairspray and pouting in. I've said it before and I've said again: enough with this overly radio-friendly, faux-rebellious chart indie. Surely even 'Heat' magazine and Top Shop Radio are fed up with it now?
