Far from nothing- Zero the first single from the Yeah Yeah Yeah's third album, It's Blitz, is a slower but powerful contender that's sure to usurp Date With The Night from it's long treasured indie-club floor filler spot. As the appeal of Karen O's rich chimes take hold, the whirring, layered and plentiful melodies points at the Brooklyn trio's collaboration (for the album) with producer Dave Sitek of TV On The Radio fame. This offering is a grower that expands all around you with each listen but the MSTRKRFT remix with its electronic tricks and vocal repetition may put test to any staying power mustered for repeat plays.
