Kyza - Sin City / Go (Single)

This is what UK hip hop should sound like. Edgy and dangerous. Quirky samples and - as a bit of a bonus - some quality scratching. And even a remix that sounds like it should be coming out of a lowered Rover 25 with a massive exhaust at the kind of volume that makes dogs walk into lampposts. Ok so that bit might not be so great, but the two lead tracks are genuinely really good.

Sin City has a bit of a West Coast US feel to it, with smooth beats and a vocal delivery that lies somewhere between Snoop Dogg and Dizzee Rascal. Go has more of a Ragga thing going on, in a UK Garage kinda way. Both tracks have a very solid feel to them despite being fairly different, pinned down by Kyza's powerful delivery.
