You know that Led Zeppelin? And that Deep Purple? Imagine that, only. Well, actually, just imagine either of those bands really, only not quite as good and sounding very safe and middle of the road instead of exciting and new, as they must have once sounded. Then remove the edgy lyrical themes and stir in a smattering of God amongst the slightly tired solos and staid riffing, add some rather overzealous prog influences, then, finally, turn it off and go listen to Zep instead.

The only possible reason I can think of for listening to this is if you've completely exhausted the back catalogue of the two bands mentioned about along with countless others of the era and you REALLY need a fix. In which case you should probably broaden your horizons, just a little.
