I bet this pair are cheesed off that Bananarama have reformed. Although I don't think the pioneers of female zero-harmony singing have any plans to move in on the Goth / Manga market, so perhaps RazorBladeKisses' niche is safe, for now. They've kept it for the past nine years, it would appear, anyway.
Both tracks here aim for maximum spookiness and fail utterly. Sure, they tick all the genre boxes; guitars that grind (but not too much), strings that swoop (but not too much), vocals that talk rather than sing (way too much) but the overall effect is wan and soulless. Mind you, that's probably what they're after.
