Submitted: "Maximo Park’s sold out UK tour which started last night with back-to-back shows at Newcastle Academy was marred by guitarist Duncan Lloyd having one of his favourite guitars stolen prior to the show.
The guitar is a 1979 brown and gold Gretsch Country Gent. The guitar was purchased from Stella Barker from the 80’s pop band the Belle Stars and prior to this was played by Joe Strummer from The Clash.
Maximo Park are offering a significant reward for the return of the guitar and all information will be kept strictly confidential. Please email maximopark@warprecords.com"
