There's rarely much messing about north of the border and Glasgow's Twin Atlantic are no exception. What Is Light?. . . is straight-ahead pop guitar punch, a bit fuzzy Clyro, a bit Cuddly Shark, with offcuts of Teenage Fanclub in their more shouty moments. Epic times may be ahead. Plus, the band's front man is named Sam McTrusty. You can't argue with that.
