Now this, surely, is even more pointless than reviewing a charity single - the Slade Christmas album? Don't they release this (or a permutation of it) at this time, every year? Suffice to say this contains everything you'd want a Slade collection to have and possibly some things you wouldn't (the 'Oaky Coaky'?) but you should be well and truly bladdered by the time they come on, so it shouldn't matter. Gavin from Accounts will be doing his HILARIOUS take-off of Ricky Gervais' dance from that episode of The Office, receptionist Dawn (all receptionists are called Dawn. It's the law.) will be fending off advances from the district manager and smarmy Trev from the Luton branch will be trying to impress the typing pool with his breakdancing. And Slade will be jingling from the speakers, like so many Black Country sleigh bells. Same again?
