Machiavellian - The Impossibility of Death in the Minds of the Living

Glass-sharp doomy thrash from this Lancastrian quintet, with the customary Cookie Monster at the mic. I've heard worse, though. A lot worse. Cradle of Filth, for instance. Machiavellian may drift around the same spiky space as the 'Filth but seem to have more about them. One doesn't want to burst into immediate laughter upon hearing or seeing them, for a start. It's rather the opposite but, as I say, given the game they're in, they make a good fist of it.
